Our client was among the leaders in baby care products, initially funded by Accel partner, Tiger Global & hellion ventures and later acquired by a large Indian retail conglomerate. They were foraying into the e-commerce market the inorganic way. Hence, this was a strategic acquisition for the Indian retail firm as they were catering to similar consumers in the offline space (physical stores).
The success of our client’s business was heavily dependent on its technological capabilities. As well as the ecommerce field was a new vertical for this business house. Also, our client had plans of acquiring other ecommerce business along with taking some of their traditional business online.
Client Requirement:

Our Solution:
Through our extensive network, Maven Hasten identified a candidate best suited for the provided job duties. We were involved in both ends of the spectrum (client and candidate) to fulfill this role. On behalf of our client, we advised and executed the following: gathering the job requirements, finalizing the job description, reviewing the industry wide compensation to match the job duties, identifying the best suited candidates, interview and on-boarding process for the new employee. Maven Hasten worked with the selected candidates on the following: organizational and job duties briefing, interview coordination, compensation negotiation, post offer follow ups such as join date, on-boarding etc..
